Kala Chana Sundal are usually served in temples as Prasadam, you can also offer it God at home. It is also made during Ganesh Festival. It can be just had as a snack as well. Quick to make and yet tasty. If you are making for Prasadam, then usage of rock salt is recommended. Traditionally, this dish is made of Coconut oil, but in absence of that, peanut oil or regular refined oil also can be used.
