Fried potatoes stuffed with paneer, mingled in a rich, masaledar onion and tomato gravy. Perfect dish to dazzle the crowd.The gravy was so delicious with crumbled potato and paneer floating around. If there ever was a recipe failed and yet reached its glory, this is it then!


  1. For the Onion Gravy, heat some ghee in a pan and saute all the ingredients. The onions should be nice, smooth and shiny. Keep aside.
  2. For the Tomato Gravy in another pan, heat some ghee and cook all the ingredients for 2 minutes. Keep aside.
  3. For the Potatoes, cut out the cores of the potatoes and deep fry the potatoes.
  4. While the potatoes cool down make the filling.
  5. Mix the mashed potatoes and paneer together.
  6. Stuff the fried potatoes with the filling and keep aside.
  7. Cook the onion and tomato gravies in oil until the oil separates.
  8. Add all the garam masala, chilli powder and kasoorimethi.
  9. Mix and cook for 1 minute.
  10. Stir in the butter and the cream. Mix well.
  11. Finally, add the potatoes and simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
