Babycorn Stir Fry


This babycorn recipe makes to be a very interesting recipe. It wont take much time, and it is made with simple ingredients and in the most simplest way. All you need is a few babycorn, onion and capsicums. This serves as great sidedish. This can be served along with some Dal Roti or Dal rice. You can also pack this for lunch.


  1. Rinse the babycorn.
  2. Slice the babycorn either in rounds or diagonally.
  3. Slice the onions.
  4. Slice the capsicum.
  5. Slit the green chilli.
  6. Heat 2 tbsp oil, in a shallow frying pan.
  7. Add the sliced onions and fry them till translucent. ( About 5 minutes)
  8. Add the baby corn, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, crushed black pepper, salt and sugar & garam masala powder.
  9. Mix everything well.
  10. Cover the pan with a lid and stir every 3-4 minutes.
  11. When, the baby corn is almost cooked, in the last stage, add the capsicum and slit green chili
  12. Serve baby corn as a side dish. Goes well with Phulkas/ rotis or rice.
